How do I qualify?
The GoSGV REAP 2.0 Equity E-Bike Program is for income-qualified residents of the San Gabriel Valley. If you participate in any of the below programs, you may be eligible for a subsidized e-bike membership. You will be asked to upload a recent 2025 income qualification document under the "Income Qualified" section of the application. The document must include your name and address, which should match the information provided in your application.
SNAP-Ed/ CalFresh Healthy Living: The CalFresh Program (formerly known as Food Stamps) helps low-income households increase their food-buying power to meet their household’s nutritional needs. CalFresh benefits issued through Electronic Benefit Transfer, also known as EBT card, can be used in grocery stores and participating Farmers Markets.

Medical Healthcare: Medi-Cal is California's Medicaid health care program. This program pays for a variety of medical services for children and adults with limited income and resources. Medi-Cal is supported by federal and state taxes.

WIC Eligibility: You may qualify for California WIC if you: Have low-to-medium income or receive Medi-Cal, CalWORKs (TANF), or CalFresh (SNAP) benefits; and Are pregnant, breastfeeding or chestfeeding, just had a baby (or recent pregnancy loss) in the last six months; or. CalWorks: California Work Opportunity and Responsibility to Kids, also known as CalWORKs, provides temporary financial assistance and employment-focused services to families with minor children whose income and property are below State maximum limits for their family size. In California, cash aid is restricted to a five-year lifetime limit for most aided adults, which includes aid received in other States.

Metro LIFE: Ready to go more places with Metro? Qualifying LA County residents can enjoy 20 free rides every month on Metro or a discounted pass on another participating transit agency. To those impacted by the January 2025 wildfires, Metro is modifying the eligibility requirements for our reduced fare and discount fare programs, making it easier for you to access essential resources, recover and rebuild.

Evaluation Requirements
To help us measure the program’s impact, REAP participants must complete the following:
- REAP Intake Survey
- Required before participating in the program. Helps us understand your travel habits and mobility needs.
- Trip Tracking via NREL OpenPATH App
- Participants will receive an email with their personal login and unique ID.
- After receiving your e-cargo bike, begin using the app to track and label your trips.
- View your carbon footprint and contribute to data that supports community-based transportation improvements.

- Complete a follow-up survey to share feedback and insights about your experience with the program.

E-Bike Pick up dates!
Pickup and delivery dates will be available at select San Gabriel Valley partner locations. You may also choose to pick up your e-bike at our El Monte office.

Repairs
Basic wear-and-tear will be covered by the program. One flat tire will also be covered by the program. Other repairs will be based on a fixed price list:

- 2nd Flat repair - $50 (first flat is free)
- Brake adjustment - $15
- Derailleur adjustment - $15
- Broken spoke - $50
- No charge for normal wear-and-tear on parts.
- Please contact your closest shop (see list here) first to confirm availability and then bring the bike to a participating location.
- Out of network bike shops will not have the tools necessary to do most repairs. Please see list above.
