Affordable E-Bikes for San Gabriel Valley Residents
GoSGV is excited to roll out more affordable pricing to income-eligible residents of the San Gabriel Valley! GoSGV offers Equity E-Bike Memberships to help residents get to work, school, and daily needs at a very low cost. These programs are for people who qualify by specific area, income, or public benefits. Sign up or learn more below!
Equity Membership Rates
City Commuter E-Bike:
Cargo & Specialty E-Bikes:
- $75 for 12 months
- $125 deposit
Cargo & Specialty E-Bikes:
- $105 for 3 months
- Types: Urban Arrow Cargo, Benno Boost, Benno Remi Demi XL, Rad Trike
Evaluation Requirements
To help us measure the program’s impact, participants must complete the following:
- Intake Survey
- Required before participating in the program. Helps us understand your travel habits and mobility needs.
- Trip Tracking via NREL OpenPATH App
- Participants will receive an email with their personal login and unique ID.
- After receiving your e-cargo bike, begin using the app to track and label your trips.
- View your carbon footprint and contribute to data that supports community-based transportation improvements.

- Complete a follow-up survey to share feedback and insights about your experience with the program.
Who can apply?
You may qualify if any one of the following applies:
Live in one of the following qualified cities: Avocado Heights, Rosemead, San Gabriel, Alhambra, Monterey Park, South El Monte, El Monte.
Meet the household income limits:
- 1 person: $53,000 or less
- 2 people: $60,600 or less
- 3 people: $68,150 or less
- 4 people: $75,750 or less
- 5 people: $81,800 or less
- 6 people: $87,850 or less
- 7 people: $93,900 or less

SNAP-Ed/ CalFresh Healthy Living: The CalFresh Program (formerly known as Food Stamps) helps low-income households increase their food-buying power to meet their household’s nutritional needs. CalFresh benefits issued through Electronic Benefit Transfer, also known as EBT card, can be used in grocery stores and participating Farmers Markets.

Medical Healthcare: Medi-Cal is California's Medicaid health care program. This program pays for a variety of medical services for children and adults with limited income and resources. Medi-Cal is supported by federal and state taxes.

WIC Eligibility: You may qualify for California WIC if you: Have low-to-medium income or receive Medi-Cal, CalWORKs (TANF), or CalFresh (SNAP) benefits; and Are pregnant, breastfeeding or chestfeeding, just had a baby (or recent pregnancy loss) in the last six months; or. Have a child or care for a child under age 5.

CalWorks: California Work Opportunity and Responsibility to Kids, also known as CalWORKs, provides temporary financial assistance and employment-focused services to families with minor children whose income and property are below State maximum limits for their family size. In California, cash aid is restricted to a five-year lifetime limit for most aided adults, which includes aid received in other States.
